Why should I do yoga?

Yoga is a series of postures, or asanas, that when linked with steady, even breath, cleanses the mind and rids the body of tensions and toxins. Although it was not adopted in the West until the 1960s, yoga is an ancient practice with a rich history and great variety.

Sessions can help you:

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a powerful technique that induces complete physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. You will be guided to a conscious state between sleep and wakefulness where contact with the subconscious and unconscious mind occur spontaneously. Yoga Nidra aids in the healing of the central nervous system and improves memory, creativity, and sleep.

During this class, you will lie on the floor is fully supported with props. You will be led through a series of guided relaxation, breathing exercises, and visualizations.

Please bring a pillow and blanket for maximum comfort.

Personal Yoga Sessions

Private Therapeutic Yoga sessions are designed to relieve pain, suffering, and discomfort, whether caused by injury, chronic pain, or stress.  In personal sessions, you are able to complete the yoga sequence at your own pace and communicate with your yoga teacher as often as needed. Many people find personal yoga sessions perfect for privacy and personalized care. The benefits of yoga are often seen in abundance after attending ongoing personal sessions.
